We have a variety of membership types to best suit you as you partner with our amazing network. Our Vision is to reduce maternal morbidity and mortality in Arkansas by reclaiming birth autonomy for women of color through collective work and responsibility of the healthcare system, doulas, and midwives of color, and the communities most impacted by birth and birth related mortalities.
We accomplish this through our mission to train BIPOC birth professionals as doulas and lactation counselors to reach the most marginalized maternal community. We provide free monthly outreaches to increase access to support and community advocacy.
Membership Options
BIPOC Doula Influencer:
$35 / Annually
This space matters because birth justice doesn’t only happen at the bedside, it happens in conversations, in communities, in campaign rooms, and across kitchen tables. BIPOC doulas deserve to remain connected to those places of power and purpose, whether they’re taking clients or not.
This $35 annual membership is more than a tier; it’s a movement space. It’s designed to hold and celebrate the doulas who lead through connection, advocacy, rest, and cultural continuity. It acknowledges that influence is not defined by how many births you attend, but by how deeply you impact the communities you serve.
Whether you’re mentoring new doulas, shaping birth policy, supporting clients informally, or simply needing time to rest and regroup, you belong here. This membership keeps the circle strong, connected, and ever-evolving ensuring that no BIPOC doula stands alone.

Active Doula Membership
$150/ Annually
This membership is designed specifically for BIPOC doulas who are actively supporting clients throughout most of the year and are fully engaged in birth work. It’s ideal for experienced doulas who are looking to grow their practices, expand their visibility, and access meaningful support and resources.
Active Doula Members are featured as top recommended providers on the Ujima Maternity Network website. This includes a professional listing with a direct hyperlink to your services, making it easy for families to find and connect with you when seeking doula care.
Active Doula Membership Benefits:
One of the most valuable benefits of this membership is year-round access to Ujima’s Doula Scholarship Program for your clients. Unlike other membership tiers with limited enrollment periods, Active Doula Members can offer eligible clients scholarship opportunities at any time during the year.
